Each Washable Rug Swatch is sold separately and is crafted to mimic the softness, durability, and design of our full-sized offerings. Measuring 10x10 in, this compact swatch allows you to visualize the texture, color, and style of our rugs in your home, ensuring you make the right choice for your space!

Bedroom
A 9x12' rug can fit perfectly in a spacious bedroom with a king or queen sized bed. For example, when placed under a king bed and two nightstands, a 9x12’ will have ~2 ft of rug on either side of the bed.

Living Room
A 9x12' rug can be a great choice for a larger size living room. They work perfect for larger, L-shaped sofas and can anchor your seating area, while also leaving enough room around the edges for the flooring to show.
Dining Room
A 9x12' rug can work great for large dining tables with 8-10 chairs, no matter the shape (square, rectangular, circular, or oval). A rectangular-shaped table can be ideal for a 9x12’ if you want enough room to pull out all of the chairs without crossing the edge of the rug.

Bedroom
An 8x10' works perfectly in a bedroom with a king, queen, or full sized bed. For example, when used with a queen, an 8x10’ will have ~2 ft on either side of the rug, which works perfectly with two nightstands.
Living Room
An 8x10’ is the most versatile and common size for living rooms. While they are highly adaptable, 8x10's are perfectly suited for rooms with 2-3 seater sofas (with or without accent chairs) and can even be used with L-shaped sofas.
Dining Room
An 8x10’ is best for medium sized dining tables with 6-8 chairs or less. No matter the shape of the table (rectangular, square, circular, or oval), an 8x10' will suit your needs. For use with rectangular tables, 8x10's are ideal if you're looking to have the rug extend beyond the back of all dining chairs.
Bedroom
A 6x9’ works perfectly at the foot of a king or queen sized bed. It can be partially under the bed (as shown in the diagram) or simply placed at the foot of the bed. When used with a queen (as shown in the diagram), a 6x9’ will have ~1.5 ft on either side of the bed.

A 5x7’ works perfectly at the foot of a queen or full sized bed. It can be partially under the bed (as shown in the diagram) or simply placed at the foot of the bed without overlap.
Living Room
In smaller living rooms, a 5x7' will fit nicely underneath a coffee table, with or without two accent chairs. 5x7’s can also work well in other open spaces within a living room, such as in front of a fireplace or adjacent to the seating area.

I really liked this color and would suggest folks getting swatches before you buy a rug. We already bought a rug without a swatch first and we didn’t like it as much but it was too late to return it. My only problem with it is that the cost of the swatch should be less or reimbursable if you purchase a rug because what do you do with it after you buy it. It seems like a little bit of a money maker for them.

I'm glad Tumble finally has rug swatches. I think $10 is a bit much for a small swatch, nevertheless they are helpful in making a decision on which rug to purchase.

Very helpful. I was able to see if the color fit in my space and got an idea of the feel of the fabric. I wish if we purchased a rug the 10 dollars for the swatch would be credited to the rug. I ended up purchasing two rugs. Very happy so far. I ordered 6 swatches.
